... how come Fancourt & McGrath list Smothers only for Palos 1207, not for 1204 ? There must be something they know that Bruyninckx doesn't know (or vice versa)

DS: You played on the recording session for the Blues Legends '79,alongside your nephew Lester (Davenport) on bass.So you recorded with family members,'cause you also played on 'Mark My Words' by Lee Shot.Did you play bass or guitar then?
LSS: Bass.I never made any recordings with my brother Big Smokey.
DS: Did you play on more 45's from the 50's and 60's?
LSS: No.Not really.I was scheduled to play on Lee Shot's 'Hello Baby'.I had an accident at my job and wounded my fingers.That was two days before we should go into the studio.
